      (2/18/25)

Blog post test. Fun fact: I actually really like the courier font.
It looks really silly and is like useful and stuff idk. Clancy will
probably be kind of wack. I'm basing him off my past journals where
I was just kind of yelled at clouds and complaining about my head
hurting a lot. A few months into college he becomes obsessed with a
mysterious website he finds called Microwave Head,
a random search engine that sends him to websites that do not seem to
exist. Clancy becomes obsessed with cataloguing and random sites and
searching for anything that connects them.
His blog will allow have aspects of his personal life. Friendship issues
and dating problems. It will be clear that writing about these topics
makes Clancy unfortable, but he will write about them anyway purely for
the catharsis. He will write about issues with his roommate and weird
social interactions. The blog should feel real and unreal. A private
look into a man who is ficional. The fiction will reveal itself in the
found-materials that are scattered across the blog in hidden or obscured
places.Clancy's life is fake, this should be apparent. His college is
not real college. His home town is not a real town, even though it will
have a fake wikipedia page that readers can find. We will see evidence of
his life but it's all still a palimpsest of a life that can only be under-
stood and discovered through the internet. The great information highway.
        The sea of lies.
